Cookie Policy

Learn more about the cookies we are using to improve our online service for you.

This Cookie Policy informs you about the technologies that help our website (www.inflyter.com) and our application (Inflyter Digital Duty Free App) (collectively our “systems”) to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow us, Inflyter, to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on your device as you interact with our systems.

For simplicity, all technologies referred to in this Cookie Policy are defined herein as Trackers – unless there is a reason to differentiate. For example, while Cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile apps as they are a browser-based Tracker. For this reason, within this Cookie Policy, the term Cookie is only used where it is specifically meant to indicate that particular type of Tracker.

This Cookie Policy is part of our Privacy Policy. It can be printed for reference by using the print command in the settings of any browser.

1. Types of Trackers

Our systems use Trackers managed directly by us (so-called “first-party” Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by a third-party (so-called “third-party” Trackers). Unless otherwise specified within this Cookie Policy, third-party providers may access the Trackers managed by them.

Since the use of third-party Trackers through our systems cannot be fully controlled by us, any specific references to third-party Trackers are to be considered indicative. In order to obtain complete information, you are kindly requested to consult the privacy policies of the respective third-party services listed herein.

Details on Trackers used and personal data processed, are provided in the “Activities and purposes” section below.  However, given the objective complexity surrounding tracking technologies, you are encouraged to contact us should you wish to receive any further information on the use of such technologies by our systems.

2. Retention period

The validity and expiration periods of Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on the lifetime set by us or the relevant provider. Some of them expire upon termination of your browsing session.

In addition to what’s specified in the descriptions within each of the categories in the “Activities and purposes” section below, you may find more precise and updated information regarding lifetime specification as well as any other relevant information – such as the presence of other Trackers – in the linked privacy policies of the respective third-party providers or by contacting us.

3. Consent and preferences

Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may require your consent. You have the right at any time to:

  • Withdraw your consent to the use of Trackers;
  • Refuse Trackers altogether;
  • Delete Trackers that have already been set;
  • Modify your Tacker settings.

3.1. Managing Tracker preferences

There are various ways to manage Tracker related preferences and to provide and withdraw consent, where relevant:

  • Directly within your own device settings, for example, by preventing the use or storage of Trackers;
  • Whenever the use of Trackers is based on consent, by using relevant browser or device features, to delete previously stored Trackers, including those used to remember your initial consent;
  • Other Trackers in the browser’s local memory may be cleared by deleting the browsing history.

For additional information about browser and device settings, please see the “Locating Tracker settings” section below.

For third-party Trackers, you can manage your preferences and withdraw your consent via the related opt-out link (where provided), by using the means indicated in the third-party’s privacy policy provided under the “Activities and purposes” section below, or by contacting the third-party.

You can find out more about Trackers, including how to see what Trackers have been set, by visiting: www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.
