Inflyter launches digital whisky boutique platform with Diageo and DFS
Inflyter is extremely pleased to announce that it has launched the first fully branded boutique in collaboration with Diageo Global Travel and luxury travel retailer DFS for travellers at selected North American airports.
This innovation is the first-of-its kind mobile commerce boutique available on the Inflyter app. This shop within a shop allows travellers to explore and shop the whisky category within the Johnnie Walker Boutique as soon as they have a flight booked, with purchases being delivered to the customer at their boarding gate on departure.
Shoppers can browse best sellers, travel retail exclusive products, be guided to discover their perfect whisky, access cocktail recipes and learn about the history behind Diageo’s single malt and blended whiskies. This combination of product and brand content is designed to influence purchase behaviour and is delivered through an adaptive, mobile-optimised user interface with innovative features such as interactive carousel sliders and expandable buttons to allow users to seamlessly
navigate through the store.
Inflyter is the first to pioneer and deliver the concept of a digital boutique or virtual pop-up store on a duty free shopping app. This fully branded digital store and new retail media concept enables brands and travel retailers the ability to offer a differentiated and more immersive mobile shopping experience, and deliver more integrated digital, mobile, in-store and in-airport experiences for travellers.
